GPING… GOING... GONE…
Regency Homes has recently purchased a one bedroom apartment in Renfrewshire as part of a charity auction to raise over £250,000 for poor children in Africa.
“We read about the auction and thought we would like to get involved,” comments Nicola Diamond, marketing director for Regency Homes. “We generally raise money for local charities but as this is going towards building work it appealed to us as property developers.
“It was fun on the day to be at the buying end for a change. Our final bid amounted to £108,000 which is going towards building an orphanage in Nairobi and the rest is going to the Betty Cunningham Foundation to build a school in Malawi.
“We are delighted Regency Homes could assist in raising the monies needed for such a worthwhile cause, this work will dramatically change the lives of countless people on another continent for many years to come and we are proud to be able to help and invest in these two countries futures.”
“We bought off plans so there is nothing to see yet, but we are looking forward to our first inspection!” Nicola adds.
