Oxgang Primary School Fly The Flag For Kirkintilloch
Glasgow based housebuilder Regency Homes were delighted to present and erect three flagpoles for Oxgang Primary School, Kirkintilloch.
Present at the formal presentation was Oxgang Primary School Head Teacher Miss Lorna Sweeney; East Dunbartonshire Councillor Jack Young; Regency Homes Consultant, Jim Gilmour and Regency Homes Marketing Director, Nicola Diamond.
Nicola said: “Councillor Young approached our consultant, Jim Gilmour, to see if we could help the school with their plans to have flagpoles at the school. We were delighted to be able to help.
“We were able to supply and erect the flagpoles, and I know the school intend to proudly fly the school flag, as well as individual ‘house’ flags.”
Regency Homes are hoping to build two bedroom apartments adjacent to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy football ground as well as helping the football club to relocate to a new stadium.
